Sweeter Side of the Feud

Also Known as the "Hillbilly Grape Winery" of the Appalachian Area

Home of the Hatfield & McCoy Vineyards

The Sweeter Side of the Feud, also known as the “Hillbilly Grape Winery” of the Appalachian Area, offers a wide variety of sweet and semi-sweet wines, all made with 100% real fruit juice.

Located in the picturesque backwoods of Roane County, West Virginia, The Sweeter Side of the Feud Winery is family owned and operated by Mark Hatfield, the great great grandson of Devil Anse Hatfield of the famous Hatfield and McCoy Feud.  An adorable cartoon pig, caricatures of family members (both Hatfield and McCoys), are illustrated on the front labels of their wines along with a detailed description of that person on the back.  Since a stolen pig started the famous Hatfield and McCoy Feud back in 1863, they decided to adopt the pig as the symbol of their winery.
